A European automotive plant was losing hours of AGV uptime to unexpected charge aborts. A custom PLB BMS turned that around.
The problem
Generic BMS logic misjudged SOC under opportunity charging, triggering conservative cut-offs that took robots out of service early.
The fix
PLB engineers tuned the SOC algorithm to the actual duty cycle and exposed cell-level data over CAN. Downtime fell by 40% in the first month.
